Starting at 6, there's will be bunches of awesome poetry things going on. Our students will be reading some of their own poetry and dramatizing other poems. There will be food and refreshments.
But more importantly, the world reknowned poet, Frank X Walker will be there. Okay, honestly, I've not really heard of him till now, but upon looking, he really is pretty awesome. He's apparently read for presidents and he has several books out. He labels himself as an affrolachain poet, which is a pretty neato-rific word, if I may say so myself.
I know that it's open to our county, but I"m sure everyone can come! No one will know you're not a native.
But I'll be there and Brandy witll be there, and Ryan might be there, I'm not sure. But yeah....
